Oxford Media Announces Agreement With Best Western

IRVINE, Calif., March 29 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Oxford Media, Inc. (BULLETIN BOARD: OXMI) , a secure digital communication and technology company, announced today it has signed an agreement with the Best Western McKinney Inn & Suites (McKinney, Texas), through one of its Platinum Dealers, Gold Star Systems for digital Video-on-Demand (VOD) and Pay-Per-View (PPV) entertainment to its 68 suites. Installation is scheduled to be completed in April 2006.

"We have been searching for a technology into our marketplace for hoteliers to have a cost effective solution, and finally Oxford Media has allowed us to provide such a service to small-to-mid sized hotels," stated Harry Palmer, President, Gold Star Systems.

"The new distribution strategy has achieved significant results in a short time frame, with more good news on the horizon. It continues to validate our business model and value proposition of delivering our technology and content in a cost effective fashion. Our system allows hoteliers to afford a VOD and PPV solution that improves guest satisfaction while realizing a ROI in a reasonable time frame," stated Tom Hemingway, Oxford Media's Chairman.

As part of the Agreement, Oxford Media was granted "rooftop rights" to install a WiMAX antenna or similar transmitting/receiving device on the rooftop of the Best Western McKinney Inn & Suites. The sole consideration to be paid by Oxford Media for these rooftop rights will be a percentage of future revenue derived from the antenna, which is to be negotiated.
