Leading In-Room Entertainment Company's Invention Provides Technology Advancements to Menu System

This significant invention is part of the foundation for several On Command products and services including its CANVAS(TM) menu system and Video Concierge(TM) service.

The United States patent (7,000,243 B1) was awarded to On Command for its submission of Allocating computer resources within a video distribution system. The key elements of this invention include technological advancements such as dynamic allocation of computing resources to provide guest services through menus, Intranet access, as well as the selection of video-on-demand and other demand services.
