"Family Tree"/"The Jitterbug" -- Mr. Mantis has assigned the kids a project to build a Family Tree made of twigs, leaves and a branch to represent each bug in their family. He also has them decorate a memento from the place where they hatched. Of the three adopted kids, Dragon and Bounce are happy to find their special something in Sunny Patch. Shimmer, however, wants to find a memento from her real 'hatchday' place to decorate her tree. Miss Spider offers to help her find where she was born and Miss Spider shares her story of how she herself was adopted and came to find her new home. Although they are unable to find Shimmer's 'hatchday' tree, Shimmer is comforted by the fact that she found Miss Spider and the family she was meant to be with. Shimmer decorates her tree with a flower Miss Spider saved from the day Shimmer was adopted.
Wednesday, March 15
"Big Bad Bug-Sitter"/"The Thinking Stone" -- It's Holley and Miss Spider's anniversary and Holley has planned a big night out on the town. He forgot to arrange a buggysitter, so Spindella comes to the rescue! Spiderus is so lonely by himself in their lair, he keeps thinking of excuses to come up to the Cozy Hole. Shimmer invites Spiderus to join the rest of the little bugs and to everybuggy's surprise, grumpy Spiderus turns out to be a lot of fun -- and a great buggysitter! When Miss Spider and Holley come home, Spiderus is sound asleep along with all the other bugs. Then, Lil Sis invites Squirt to her birthday party and he promised her he will go. But when Dragon comes home and announces that all the kids can take part in a tuber tuba parade, Squirt wants to do that instead. He doesn't know what to do, so Holley shows him a Thinking Stone. Holley explains that when he has something serious to think about he takes time out and sits on this stone. Squirt goes on a quest to find his own Thinking Stone and comes up with a solution. He finds a way to attend Lil Sis' party and participate in the tuber tuba parade!

"Seeing Straight"/"Stumped!" -- While playing 'I Spy,' Dragon spies a pair of glasses on the ground. He thinks they are the Flying Aces' goggles and is thrilled! After an unsuccessful attempt to find the owner, Dragon happily goes back to playing with them. Meanwhile, Frank the far-sighted Firefly careens in through the Spider's window -- he's lost his glasses and is as blind as an earthworm! Dragon can't find the specs so he teams his expert eyesight with Frank's lit firefly bottom to scour the ground from the nighttime sky. Dragon finds both Frank's glasses and a newfound respect for other bugs' property. There is one last summer berry left in all of Sunny Patch and Shimmer and Squirt play a game of "keep away," to see who gets it. What starts out as fun escalates into a fight and Miss Spider and Holley tells the boys they must find a way to resolve their conflict. Holley suggests they walk away, apologize or even try his patented "Wheel of Choice." Nothing works and Shimmer and Squirt worry they might miss the afternoon mushroom safari. Eventually the kids cool off and start having a good time -- so much so that rather continue their fun, then join the rest of the gang on the safari!
