Network LIVE Launches New Breakthrough Artist Series in 'Standing Room Only' Music Showcase at SXSW

Village Voice / Capitol Records Team With Network LIVE for Showcase; Acts Include Rosanne Cash, Morningwood, The Magic Numbers and Sound Team

Performances From Showcase Will be Available for Millions of Music Fans on AOLMusic.com and DIRECTV and XM Satellite Radio

LOS ANGELES, March 14 /PRNewswire/ -- Network LIVE, a joint venture between AOL, XM Satellite Radio and AEG, today announced the launch of "Standing Room Only" ("SRO"), the music franchise dedicated to connecting emerging artists and fans through the company's powerful global digital network, providing unparalleled access and reach for labels and artists via AOL Music, XM Satellite Radio, DIRECTV and multiple distribution and wireless providers worldwide.

Breakthrough artists including Hawthorne Heights and KT Tunstall have already leveraged Network LIVE's platform to successfully launch their albums and promote their tours. The launch of "SRO" will help similar artists connect with fans and potential fans. Artist inclusion in series will be based on live draw, vocal/active fan base, and album sales and will appeal to fans of many genres including Rock, Alternative, Indie, Emo, Country, Alternative Country, Brit Pop, Singer/Songwriter, Electronica, R&B, Underground Hip Hop/Alternative Hip Hop.

Celebrating the launch of "SRO," Network LIVE, with Capitol Records and Village Voice Media, will be presenting an exclusive, VIP only showcase on March 16th from 12:30 pm - 5:00 pm CST at La Zona Rosa. The showcases will be made available at a later date for listeners of XM Satellite Radio, DIRECTV subscribers, and on demand on AOLMusic.com. The current line up includes Rosanne Cash, The Magic Numbers, Morningwood and Sound Team.
