Kentucky Native Brice Long Releases Digital Album on April 11, 2006

NASHVILLE, Tenn., March 27 /PRNewswire/ -- Sony Music Nashville will release Kentucky native Brice Long's self-titled debut album digitally on April 11, 2006. The Columbia Nashville album and all eleven tracks will be available wherever digital music is sold, sites such as Sony Connect, iTunes, Rhapsody, Walmart.com, Napster, Yahoo! Music, MSN, etc. The album, "Brice Long," releases in brick & mortar stores in the Fall.

Working with the first-time pairing of producers Mark Wright (Gretchen Wilson) and Keith Stegall (Alan Jackson), Brice wrote or co-wrote eight of the songs on his debut release. His new single, "Meat & Potato Man," which he wrote with Walt Aldridge, will hit the radio airwaves on April 24.

Country music fans were first introduced to Brice Long through songs like "It's Only Monday" and "Anywhere But Here," both available on his digital album. He also co-wrote Gary Allan's #1 song, "Nothing On But the Radio" as well as songs for Josh Turner, Darryl Worley, Randy Travis, Catherine Britt and John Michael Montgomery. Brice made his Grand Ole Opry debut on February 10, 2006, and can be seen on WE (Women's Entertainment) Network's "3 Men & A Chick Flick" on Friday, March 31. The Kentucky Music Hall of Fame & Museum has recently included a display of Brice Long memorabilia.

Brice grew up on a 60-acre farm just outside of Hopkinsville, Kentucky, where he worked the fields, tended cattle and hogs and kept his ears glued to the local country radio station. After high school, he spent time on the competitive roping circuit before pursuing a career in country music. Brice performed at nightclubs in Tennessee and Kentucky and opened shows for national touring country artists. He finished college at Middle Tennessee State University and signed his first writing deal with Reba's Starstruck Entertainment. Brice continues to tour the country in support of his single and upcoming album.

Brice Long is managed by RPM Management and booked by the William Morris Agency. For updates and tour information, please visit http://www.bricelong.com/.
