No. 1 Infant/Preschool Video Brand Expands Its Award-winning Music Library by Introducing Little Ones Ages 1-Year and Up to the World of Music and the Instruments That Create It
BURBANK, Calif., March 7 /PRNewswire/ -- The Baby Einstein Company is marching little feet further into the world of music with the debut of its newest DVD and video title, Meet the Orchestra(TM): First Instruments. Recommended for children 1 year and up, Meet the Orchestra provides little ones with a playful introduction to musical instruments and the sounds they make. Available on March 7, Meet the Orchestra further enhances Baby Einstein's award-winning collection of music titles, which include Baby Mozart(TM), Baby Bach(TM) and Baby Beethoven(TM), and is the perfect addition to any family's library of Baby Einstein(TM) DVDs.
Little ones develop an ear for music at an early age, and Baby Einstein is known for creatively exposing babies to music from their point-of-view by featuring classical music re-orchestrated for young ears in all of its titles. Between 3 to 6 months, little ones enjoy soft, soothing music and even begin moving to music. From 6 to 9 months, they begin creating their own form of music by clapping their hands and banging on objects. By year one, toddlers are beginning to identify specific sounds and musical notes and Meet the Orchestra builds on their natural curiosity about the sounds they hear and the objects that make them.
Featuring the string, brass, wood wind and percussion sections of an orchestra, with sights and sounds of 22 instruments including trumpets, saxophones, violins and tambourines, Meet the Orchestra engages children and parents as they discover the exciting benefits that music has to offer including movement and self-expression.
Hosted by a playful blue Hippopotamus, Meet the Orchestra incorporates beautiful classical music by Mozart, Beethoven, Haydn, Strauss and Joplin. Throughout this musical journey, little ones will be entertained with fun puppet shows and real-world imagery. Bonus features include "Maestro's Recital," which features poetry readings by The Baby Einstein Company Founder Julie Aigner-Clark, "Guess the Musical Instrument" and additional puppet scenes.
Each Baby Einstein video provides opportunities for parents and caregivers to interact with their little ones and discover the world together from a baby's point-of-view. Meet the Orchestra is the 20th DVD/VHS title from The Baby Einstein Company, the award-winning creator of the infant developmental media category and best-selling brand of videos for infants and toddlers, from birth. Available at major retailers, the suggested retail price of the VHS is $14.99 and $19.99 for the DVD.
