Controversial Documentary Film 'Rape of the Soul' Opens in Texas Theaters March 31 Exposing Catholic Church's Latest Cover-Up
The Film, Which Uncovers Pornographic and Satanic Images Embedded in Religious Artworks, Expands to Additional Theaters in New York, Los Angeles and Dallas-Ft. Worth as Word-of-Mouth Spreads
LOS ANGELES, March 30 /PRNewswire/ -- "Rape of the Soul," the controversial new documentary film which exposes pornographic and satanic images embedded in religious artworks and the Church's subsequent attempts to avoid their detection, is coming to theaters in the Greater Dallas-Ft. Worth area, beginning Friday, March 31 at the Plano, Texas, Cinemark 24 and Forth Worth United Artists Hulen 10.
While movie-going audiences nationwide will be waiting for this summer's highly anticipated film, "The Da Vinci Code," Silver Sword International's (SSI) "Rape of the Soul" offers a real-life look at the widespread use of embedded satanic, sexual, occult and anti-Catholic images in historical and contemporary religious artwork, and its inexplicable acceptance at the highest levels of the Catholic Church. Since its March 17 debut, the film has generated widespread discussion in a variety of Catholic Internet sites and weblogs because of its no-holds-barred look at The Church's attempts to cover up this brewing scandal.
"Rape of the Soul," playing to audiences in New York, Los Angeles, Portland, Seattle and Boston since March 17, will debut this Friday, March 31, at two theaters in the Greater Dallas-Ft. Worth area; the UA Hulen 10 (4920 S. Hulen St.) in Ft. Worth and the Cinemark 24 (7201 N. Central Expressway) in Plano. A full list of theaters offering the documentary can be found at www.rapeofthesoul.com .
The film is produced and directed by SSI's Michael A. Calace, who brings over 20 years of embed art expertise and has assembled a group of experts from the fields of clinical and child psychology, hypnosis, spirituality, and deceptive advertising. These experts offer detailed accounts of the subconscious programming effects of the sex and horror images, which are often targeted at children, promoting sex, Satanism and the occult.
Calace, a filmmaker, actor and devout Roman Catholic, first stumbled upon the idea for this film while creating "Intimate Fear," the first of a series of dramatic, family-oriented films that would "Merge Media with Morality," the mission of Silver Sword International. "Intimate Fear" required the use of a church for a few scenes in Toronto, Canada, but an unusual encounter with the Archdiocese of Toronto warranted further investigation, leading him to uncover a series of massive international religious scandals within his own beloved church.
Calace utilized his embed art experience to extract a multitude of meticulously embedded sexual and occult horror images and his revelations are expanded upon by a group of experts including:
* Dr. Wilson Bryan Key, an internationally recognized embedded imagery
expert with over 30 years of expertise as both a former professor at
the University of Western Ontario and a wealth of first-hand
experiences as a former advertising executive. Key is a MENSA member
and author of five books on the subject.
* Dr. Stanley Monteith, the nationally syndicated talk show host of Radio
Liberty and an accomplished author and lecturer on geopolitics. He has
spent more than 30 years researching the causes for America's spiritual
and moral decline.
* Dr. Marc Oster, an expert in clinical psychology and hypnosis, who now
teaches at Argosy University. He is also the past president of the
American Society of Clinical Hypnosis.
* Dr. Judith Reisman, a world-renowned author, lecturer and expert in
child psychology and the harmful, negative effects of pornography. She
is president of The Institute for Media Education, author of the U.S.
Department of Justice's Juvenile Justice study, and has been a
consultant to four U.S. Department of Justice administrations, The U.S.
Department of Education, as well as the U.S. Department of Health and
Human Services.
"'Rape of the Soul' was created to heal the many that have suffered from these uninvited violations," explains Calace. "I also felt it was imperative to both educate the public regarding the dangers of embed programming and do my part to bring these international scandals into the light of day to hopefully aid the Church in doing what is right."
