SXSW Interactive Web Awards Finalists Announced; Be a part of the Web Awards By Voting for the 'People's Choice' Award

AUSTIN, Texas, Feb. 13 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Finalists in 16 categories have been announced for the Ninth Annual SXSW Web Awards, a competition designed to honor the digital artists and web developers who fuel the online world with creative energy and ideas. Winners in these categories will be announced on Sunday evening, March 12 at the SXSW Web Awards Ceremony, presented by Adobe. The Web Awards Ceremony is a cornerstone event of the SXSW Interactive Festival, one of the world's leading conferences targeted toward cutting-edge web designers, new media developers, and digital innovators. While a panel of industry experts selects the winners, web surfers from around the world are invited to vote for the annual "People's Choice Award." This award allows everyone in cyberspace to select their favorite site from amongst all finalists via an easy-to-use online interface.
