The Quigley Corporation Partners With Universal Pictures to Launch Curious George(TM) Promotion for its COLD-EEZE(R) Brand

Promotion Includes Sweepstakes and Self-Liquidating Offer

DOYLESTOWN, Pa., Feb. 10 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- The Quigley Corporation (NASDAQ:QGLY) announced today that it has partnered with Universal Pictures for a Cold-Eeze promotion tied to Curious George, the new film featuring the voices of Will Ferrell and Drew Barrymore that opens February 10th. Promotion activities include a sweepstakes and a self-liquidating offer that launched with an ad in Parenting Magazine in January.

As part of the promotion, consumers can enter a sweepstakes for a chance to win a grand prize trip for four to one of the Universal Studios Theme Parks. The sweepstakes will also award fifty first prize NAMCO BANDAI Games America Inc Curious George Game Boy(R) Advance games and fifteen second prize Curious George gift packs filled with assorted licensed merchandise. Consumers can register to win online at www.coldeeze.com or by mail-in entry.

The promotion also includes a self-liquidating offer whereby consumers can send in two Cold-Eeze proofs of purchase along with $5.50 for shipping and handling to receive a Curious George backpack, available while supplies last.

Universal Pictures and Imagine Entertainment bring Curious George, the original "monkey see, monkey do" chimp, to the screen in an all-new animated adventure based upon the beloved tales that have been enchanting readers for more than 60 years. George, the inquisitive little guy with an insatiable taste for adventure, sets off in a brand new tale for the big screen, where his spunky and fun-loving nature endears him to new friends he meets along the way and (of course) lands him in a series of (mis-)adventures.

Curious George titles have sold more than 30 million copies worldwide and have been published in 17 languages, making the little monkey who left the jungle with The Man with the Yellow Hat one of the best-selling and most enduring characters in children's literature.

Curious George is produced by Ron Howard, David Kirschner and Jon Shapiro. Matthew O'Callaghan directs from a screenplay by Ken Kaufman (story by Ken Kaufman and Mike Werb). Dick Van Dyke, David Cross, Eugene Levy and Joan Plowright are also among the distinguished cast of voices. Original songs are written and performed by Jack Johnson.
