Cupid is striking at the office, and employers are coming to terms with workplace dating, according to CareerBuilder-dot-com's annual office romance survey. Although about half of workers say they have dated a co-worker -- similar to last year's results -- just thirty-seven percent feel compelled to keep their relationship a secret, down from forty-six percent a year go. Fifty-eight percent of male respondents claim they wouldn't hesitate to chow down on any menu item during a date, no matter how fattening or calorie-laden.

'I WANT YOU BACK!' Survey Shows Counteroffers Likely for Valued Employees

Sweethearts aren't the only ones doing the wooing this Valentine's Day. A new survey shows many businesses are apt to turn on the charm -- and pull open the purse strings -- when good employees threaten to leave for another. Sixty-three percent of advertising and marketing executives polled said they would likely extend a counteroffer if a prized staff member quit to accept a more lucrative position. The survey was developed by The Creative Group.
