A Coldplay representative responded to break-up rumours circulating today
to Canadian TV entertainment newsmagazine eTalk Daily. In response to alleged
comments made at last night's Brit Awards on February 15, a spokesperson
provided eTalk Daily with this statement:

"Coldplay are not quitting. The band is looking forward to seeing their
Canadian fans on tour in March and at the Junos in Halifax on April 2."

Coldplay is scheduled to perform on The Juno Awards, Canada's Music
Awards, on Canadian television network CTV in April.

At last night's Brit Awards, Coldplay front man Chris Martin allegedly
said, "People are fed up with us and so are we. You won't see us at one of
these for many, many years. We mean it."

The exclusive segment airs tonight on the CTV.
