Westwood One Appoints Roby Wiener EVP/Chief Marketing Officer

NEW YORK, Jan. 25 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Westwood One (NYSE:WON) announced today that, effective February 1, 2006, Roby Wiener, will assume the position of Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer. In this newly created role, Ms. Wiener will oversee Marketing, Product Strategy, Promotions and Research for both Metro Networks and the Radio Network Division. Ms. Wiener, who will be based in New York, will report to Peter Kosann, CEO and President of Westwood One.

Ms. Wiener has more than 25 years experience in the media business, with the unique experience of having worked on the agency, client and media sides of the broadcast business. Ms. Wiener most recently served as Executive Vice President Client Strategies & Services for the Premiere Radio Network for the past five years. Previously, Ms. Wiener spent over 11 years at Warner-Lambert, a leading consumer product company that was among the top five largest national radio advertisers, as Senior Media Manager of the Company's Advertising Services Department. Prior to Warner-Lambert, Ms. Wiener spent 10 years as Associate Director of Ted Bates Advertising Agency where she led the radio buying department.

Ms. Wiener has served as Chairman of the Radio Committee for the Association of National Advertisers, and was named a "Network Radio All-Star" by her peers in the 1997 MediaWeek Poll.
