The SAG Awards(TM), the only industry accolades devoted solely to actors honoring actors, will be simulcast live on TNT and TBS Sunday, Jan. 29, at 8 p.m. (ET/PT), 7 p.m. (CT) and 6 p.m. (MT). Casting of The Actor(R), the Screen Actors Guild Award(R): Each solid bronze statuette, called The Actor(R), has a green-black patina and stands on a base of polished black granite. The 16-inch tall award weighs 12 pounds. Skilled craftsmen at the American Fine Arts Foundry work with the lost wax process and pour molten metal under the direction of Brett Barney.

Storyline Online: The Screen Actors Guild Foundation presents Storyline Online, an on-line streaming video program featuring SAG members, like Elijah Wood and Sean Astin, reading children's books aloud at http://www.storylineonline.net/. The SAG Foundation reaches the community at large with its nationally recognized BookPALS program, for which SAG members lend their talents of book reading to children in schools.
