Storyline Online: The Screen Actors Guild Foundation presents Storyline Online, an on-line streaming video program featuring SAG members, like Elijah Wood and Sean Astin, reading children's books aloud at http://www.storylineonline.net/. The SAG Foundation reaches the community at large with its nationally recognized BookPALS program, for which SAG members lend their talents of book reading to children in schools. Since its inception, BookPALS has garnered enormous success and provided literacy opportunities to millions of children. SAG Foundation programs provide emergency relief to actors in economic distress, video and audio preservation of the creative legacy of industry members, scholarships for performers and their children and emergency funds for members with catastrophic illnesses.
