Raven Moon's New Animated Movie Creates Buzz at NATPE Convention

Raven Moon's New Animated Movie Creates Buzz at NATPE Convention

Recent Box Office Success of Family Oriented Theatrical Releases Has Brought New Interest to Animated Features

ORLANDO, Fla., Jan. 30 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Raven Moon Entertainment, Inc. (BULLETIN BOARD: RVMN) is pleased with the interest and response to its forthcoming animated movie "Gina D & The Transistor Sisters(R) In Search of the Golden Record" by attendees at the National Association of Television Program Executives (NATPE) convention in Las Vegas last week. The company attributed some of the buzz about Raven Moon Entertainment's projects to increased interest in family oriented programming.

"With the Disney planned merger with Pixar it is anticipated that there will be a greater emphasis on animated theatricals. We spoke to many interested and excited buyers and potential distributors at NATPE about Raven Moon's ability to create 3D animated family films for a fraction of the cost," stated Len Koch, Chairman of ROLE Entertainment, the syndicator of Gina D's Kids Club(R). "I believe that we have a hot property on our hands and I invite potential distribution partners to visit Raven Moon's facility in Orlando to see how real this is."

"Recently the newly formed Weinstein Company owned by Bob and Harvey Weinstein joined the animation bandwagon with its first animated release, called 'Hoodwinked.' It seems like Raven Moon could be in the right place at the right time for a major distributor like Universal, Sony, Paramount or The Weinstein Company to partner with Raven Moon as a provider of cost-effective 3D animated family films. We're certainly exploring all possibilities," Koch said.

About the Movie

The G-rated, fully animated film will be approximately 65 minutes long with 10 new original "Motown style" sounds of the 1960s songs, and a total of 10 classic Diana Ross & The Supremes hit songs for a music CD to be produced by Emmy Award-winning executive producers Joey and Bernadette DiFrancesco, who have already produced the music soundtrack and the first 14 minutes of dialogue with Gina D & The Transistor Sisters(R). The full script has been written by Tim Trombitas, Joey DiFrancesco and Bernadette DiFrancesco based on a story by Joey and Bernadette DiFrancesco. The movie will be directed by Michael Gibilisco.

Excerpts from four Diana Ross & The Supremes hit songs, including "Stop In The Name Of Love," "Where Did Our Love Go," "You Can't Hurry Love" and "Baby Love," recorded for the new "Gina D & The Transistor Sisters(R) In Search of the Golden Record" G-rated movie soundtrack music CD, can now be heard at http://www.ginadskidsclub.com/ .
