Swann has been on the campaign trail ever since he announced his candidacy for Governor of Pennsylvania in Pittsburgh. Mr. Swann, 53, is an NFL Hall of Famer who played for the Pittsburgh Steelers from 1974-1982. He now resides in Sewickley, PA in Allegheny County, and since retiring has mainly been a sports broadcaster for ABC Sports. Mr. Swann also serves as Chairman of the President's Council on Physical Fitness and Sports and sits on the Board of Directors for Big Brothers Big Sisters of America, H.J.
