VH1's Best Week Ever Takes A Fond Look Back at 2005, The 'Best Year Ever' on Friday, December 9 at 11PM*
And That's The Way It Was ...
NEW YORK, Dec. 5 /PRNewswire/ -- Michael Jackson's trial, Jen and Brad's divorce and TomKat. It was a memorable year and VH1 was right there for every "I can't believe I did that" and "I hope no one saw" moment.
For the past year, VH1's "Best Week Ever" has captured the ups and downs of pop culture -- delivering "everything you loved, everything you missed, and everything you have to see again," week after week. Premiering Friday, December 9 at 11PM* "Best Week Ever" will take a look back at the year in pop culture in a one-hour special "Best Year Ever."
"Best Year Ever" will revisit topics covered in 2005 with a new year-end twist including: the hacking of Paris Hilton's Sidekick, R. Kelly's "Trapped in the Closet" video, Britney and Kevin's Chaotic, the Bush Inauguration, Saddam loving Cheetos, and the trend of celebrities helping out for good causes with Live 8, New Orleans and Oprah.
"Best Year Ever" will also feature special packages such as a farewell montage of celebrity couples that broke up this year and an all-new edition of Doug Benson's Pop Culture Bachelor. "Best Week Ever" panelist Doug Benson gives roses to the people and things in pop culture he's loved in 2005. Will he give a rose to Tara Reid? Fergie from the Black Eyed Peas? The hunks from Mr. Romance? Tune in to find out.
Finally, "Best Year Ever" will present the award for WHO had the Best Year Ever, which will be determined by voters on VH1.com. And the Nominees are: Angelina Jolie, Kanye West, Tyra Banks, Cheaters (i.e., the people who made it big by 'bending the rules like Martha Stewart and Jude Law) and Weathermen.
