Reggie Bush, Matt Leinart, Brady Quinn and Vince Young Announced As the Four Finalists for the Cingular-ABC Sports All-America Player of the Year
Cingular Wireless and A-B-C Sports have announced the four nominees for the Cingular-A-B-C Sports All-America Player of the Year, and for the second year in a row, teammates are on the final ballot. U-S-C quarterback and reigning Heisman Trophy winner Matt Leinart and fellow Trojan running back Reggie Bush headline the star-studded list of finalists for the award, the only one determined exclusively by fan voting. The other finalists are Texas quarterback Vince Young, a three-time Cingular-A-B-C Sports Player of the Week, and Notre Dame quarterback Brady Quinn, a two-time winner this year. All nominees were selected by a panel of A-B-C Sports and E-S-P-N college football analysts. The selection of this year's winner now rests solely in the hands of college football fans nationwide. Fans have until Sunday, December the fourth at midnight Eastern Standard Time to vote, via wireless text messaging, for this year's outstanding gridiron performer.

Large Majorities of U.S. Adults Continue to Think That Big Companies, PACs, and Lobbyists Have Too Much Power and Influence in Washington
As scandals involving power and influence continue to unfold in Washington, D-C, it is not surprising that the American public thinks certain groups have too much power and influence in our nation's capital. By very large majorities, U-S adults believe that big companies and Political Action Committees, or P-A-C's have too much power and influence in Washington. Not far behind, three-quarters of adults believe political lobbyists have too much power and influence, while two-thirds feel this way about the news media. Looking at this from the opposite perspective, 92 percent of U-S adults believe that small business has too little power and influence in Washington. Large numbers also believe public opinion and nonprofit organizations have too little power and influence. These are the results of a recent Harris Poll.
