ON VH1 CLASSIC
Ric Ocasek stops by the VH1 Classic studio on Sunday, December 4 at 10:00 AM and 10:00 PM ET (7 AM and 7 PM PT) to chat with VH1 Classic on-air host Eddie Trunk about his career with The Cars and perform his new song "Bottom Dollar" from his latest solo album "Nexterday," named by his four-year-old son who didn't know the difference between tomorrow and yesterday.
Ocasek shares how he would be open to recording again with The Cars -- but not going back on the road for a huge tour. Other highlights include how he was opposed to making music videos, even though "You Might Think" won one of the first MTV Video Music Awards, and his preference for writing songs for people but not producing for them.
