"You Oughta Know" - VH1 fills you in on artists on the rise. Get acquainted with these essential new artists.
Anna Nalick - This charming newcomer writes her feisty pop tunes with no formal training, just a love of music. From the age of thirteen, Anna Nalick was rewriting the lyrics to tunes by Green Day, Nirvana and Matchbox Twenty. She has since honed the craft of storytelling and this singer/songwriter showcases her own poignant music on her debut Wreck of the Day.
James Blunt - This ex-soldier has gone from riding in tanks to topping the UK charts with the ballad "You're Beautiful," that Elton John has compared to his own hit "Your Song." The candor and catchiness of Back to Bedlam is the reason for Blunt's success - the CD showcases a disarmingly tender voice that speaks with the heart of a true romantic.

What's on VH1 Classic?
Ric Ocasek stops by the VH1 Classic studio on Sunday, December 4 at 10:00 AM and 10:00 PM ET (7 AM and 7 PM PT) to chat with VH1 Classic on-air host Eddie Trunk about his career with The Cars and perform his new song "Bottom Dollar" from his latest solo album "Nexterday," named by his four-year-old son who didn't know the difference between tomorrow and yesterday.
Ocasek shares how he would be open to recording again with The Cars - but not going back on the road for a huge tour. Other highlights include how he was opposed to making music videos, even though "You Might Think" won one of the first MTV Video Music Awards, and his preference for writing songs for people but not producing for them.
