(NASDAQ:TRID) and a worldwide leader in developing advanced digital TV technology for the consumer digital video marketplace, today announced that Vestel Electronic, one of the world's largest television manufacturers, is using Trident's SVP(TM) EX integrated, ten-bit video decoder and processor that features the Digital Cinema Reality Engine (DCRe(TM)) to power its latest family of PDP and LCD TVs for the European market. The new models are now shipping with leading consumer electronics brands.
