New Holiday Travel Option: Overnight Trips to Narnia - And Back

Taubman creates hotel packages for shopping center snow globe explorers

BLOOMFIELD HILLS, Mich., Nov. 9 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Book your trip to Narnia now! A new, one-night travel package designed for those who want to experience C.S. Lewis' Narnia first hand at the mall and in their hotel rooms will be available Nov. 14, just in time for the Walt Disney Pictures/Walden Media all new film, The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe, which hits theaters Dec. 9.

The "Overnight Narnia Experience," created by eight Taubman (NYSE:TCO) shopping centers nationwide in partnership with neighboring hotels, gives guests the feel, sights, sounds -- and even taste -- of Narnia in a hotel- entertainment-shopping package that includes:

* A visit to "Experience the Magic of The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe in the Snow Globes," a groundbreaking display at the participating shopping centers. The interactive experience lets visitors experience the Land of Narnia depicted through giant snow globes, including a 20-foot, walk-through globe that actually puts visitors in the magical Land of Narnia -- complete with a blast of cool air, falling snow and Narnia movie footage. Visitors to the shopping center display will journey through the magic wardrobe to the Land of Narnia; view actual props and costumes used in the film; and see video insights from its director and video greetings from cast members, all made especially for the display.

* A free "green-screen" photo taken at the display that captures the experience forever by making those in the picture look like they're standing in a wintry scene from the film.

* Overnight hotel accommodations

* A copy of The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe book, left on the hotel pillow to read in bed at night before the venture -- and take home to read again and again

* Turkish Delight candy, which plays a key role in the movie and book, to set the mood

* A souvenir Snow Globe from Kodak that doubles as a picture holder

* A shopping "passport" filled with discount coupons and special offers at the shopping center
