Napster 3.5 Offers Unique Personalization Features and Higher Fidelity Sound Quality

The intuitive new software delivers a unique experience for each member through the addition of a personal "Playlist of the Day" and interactive tools that enable content delivery to be honed to individual tastes. Napster has also enhanced the fidelity of the music in its massive song catalog to a bit rate 192k, ensuring members will enjoy their favorite music at the best possible audio quality.

The simplified user interface is enriched by features that instantly generate and display personalized song recommendations and the addition of a "Playlist of the Day" on the homepage that can be refreshed with just one click of the mouse. Napster's powerful new proprietary recommendation engine uses unique algorithms to develop distinctive song and playlist suggestions based on a combination of members' individual listening habits, music libraries, and professional musicologist recommendations, resulting in a truly personalized experience. Additional features include one-click access to the last three Napster radio stations the user listened to and the creation of a playlist within each member's library containing the last 200 tracks played.
All upgrades encompass Napster To Go, the world's first portable subscription service, which is compatible with over 50 portable devices and allows unlimited song transfer for just $14.95 per month. The standard Napster subscription membership is $9.95 per month.
