Coco's Bakery Restaurant Partners With Warner Home Video for Holiday Promotion

Partnership to Promote Coco's Fresh-Baked Holiday Pies and the Release of Warner Home Video's The Polar Express DVD

CARLSBAD, Calif., Nov. 7 /PRNewswire/ -- Coco's Bakery Restaurant announced today its partnership with Warner Home Video to promote the November 22 release of The Polar Express DVD this holiday season. From November 1, 2005 through January 3, 2006, any Coco's guest that purchases a fresh-baked whole pie will receive a $5 mail-in rebate for Warner Home Video's The Polar Express DVD.

"The Polar Express is a classic holiday tale; as classic as Coco's pies for the holidays. This partnership is a the perfect collaboration for Coco's and combines two great family brands bringing the magic of the seasons to all of our guests who have long loved Coco's for our warm and welcoming family friendly environment," said Sam Borgese, president of Catalina Restaurant Group, Inc., parent company of Coco's Bakery Restaurant.

On November 1st, participating Coco's will begin distributing the $5 rebate forms to every guest who purchases a whole fresh-baked pie. Additional promotional efforts include Coco's new Polar Express-themed kids menu with graphics and games from the movie as well as a new pie created specially for the Polar Express DVD release: The Polar Express Peppermint Cheese Pie. The new pie is a magical creation of peppermint cheese swirl filling on a chocolate cookie crust topped with whipped cream and candy canes baked fresh in the restaurant daily and perfect for any holiday gathering.

"We were looking for a restaurant that appealed to families and could support the holiday theme of The Polar Express. Only available for a limited time during the season, some of Coco's ever- popular holiday pies include traditional Pumpkin Pie; Coco's Signature Harvest Pie, a combination pumpkin pie with a layer of pumpkin chiffon; Pumpkin Cheese Swirl Pie, Boston Cream Pie, Black Forest Holiday Cake and Banana Split Pie all baked fresh in the restaurant daily. Other holiday favorites available year round include Pecan Pie, Dutch Apple Pie and Chocolate Cream Pie.

Just in time for the holiday season, Coco's has also introduced gift cards in all of participating restaurants as well as online at www.cocosbakery.com. Gift cards are available in any denomination from $5 to $100.
