Casting Company Seeks Doctors & Patients to Participate in a Televised 30-Minute Documentary About Heart Disease

WILMINGTON, N.C., Nov. 18 /PRNewswire/ -- Fincannon & Associates Casting Company announced today that they are casting a 30-minute documentary for television that will air throughout the United States. The film is an educational and informational show concerning heart disease, high cholesterol, and other risks. It will shoot in North or South Carolina from January 16th to January 25th.

The concept for this piece revolves around a real person who has found himself surviving a heart attack in the last year. His situation is the talk of his small town (population 600 to 6,000) because he does not look like a guy who would have a heart attack. He is an American male aged 50 to mid-50s and he is active and fit, which is why his heart attack came as a shock to all those in his world. It served as a wake up call to many with high cholesterol and other risk factors who were inspired by his situation to take action to avoid the same fate.

The main premise of this spot will be to show the relationship between this patient, his primary care physician, his cardiologist, and his family and friends. Each person in our patient's life will be interviewed about their relationship with him and how his heart attack affected them personally. Everyone appearing in the piece will be paid on a contract for their participation and time. Total involvement will vary, but most people will only be needed for a few hours for an on-camera interview during the shooting dates. The film will be shot in the participant's hometown.

More than anything, the goal of this piece is to inspire others to take a look at themselves and the state of their own health. If you are a doctor who has a patient that fits this bill or if you are a patient yourself who can relate to this idea, please contact the Fincannon's via e-mail at Fincannon@aol.com or by phone at (910) 251-1500 to share your story. Please ask for Shannon or Ashley when you call.
