Caribbean Cable Co-op to Launch Tempo, the New Network Devoted to Caribbean Music and Culture

Tempo Will Reach More Than 300,000 Households Throughout The Caribbean Region

NEW YORK, Nov. 15 /PRNewswire/ -- Tempo announced today it has signed an agreement with the Caribbean Cable Cooperative, Inc. to carry the new network throughout the region. The Caribbean Cable Co-op is the largest collective of cable operators in the region, giving Tempo a solid platform in anticipation of its scheduled November 21 debut.

At launch, systems covering 18 Caribbean locations, including Anguilla, Aruba, Bahamas, Barbados, Bermuda, British Virgin Islands, Cayman, Curacao, Dominica, Grenada, Jamaica, Montserrat, Nevis, St. Maarten, St. Kitts, St. Lucia, Trinidad & Tobago and Turks & Caicos will carry Tempo on an expanded basic level of service to more than 300,000 homes. These territories join the U.S. Virgin Islands and the Dominican Republic as Tempo affiliates.

Tempo joins MTV Network's roster of popular and highly-targeted cable networks which includes MTV, Nickelodeon, Comedy Central, BET and Spike TV.
