U.S. Adults Split as to the Job Their Member of Congress is Doing, According to Latest Harris Poll

While the American public seems to be disenchanted with the way things in Washington are going and as President Bush and Congress have seen their approval ratings decline since 2001, U-S adults are a little more content with the job their individual member of Congress is doing. According to a Harris Poll, when asked to rate the job their representative is doing, 42 percent of U-S adults give their member a positive rating while 41 percent give their representative a negative rating. This approval, however, is soft, as only seven percent say the job their member of Congress is doing is excellent, while 35 percent say it is pretty good.

Working Late Again! More than 60 Percent of Employees Report Poor Balance Between Work and Personal Life, According to TrueCareers Survey

The majority of employees feel like they are spending more time in the office then at home according to a new survey by TrueCareers. The survey of almost 600 employees has found that more than 60 percent of employees believe that they have a poor balance between their work and personal lives. TrueCareers found that 35 percent of employees believe that worrying about work when on the job has caused them to sacrifice a portion of their personal life. Twenty-five percent say that working too many hours has been the source of the interference. The survey also found that half of employees feel guilty when taking a day off from work or going on vacation.

Jaws and The Exorcist still outrank any recent film, as 1970's classic horror films accounted for six of the top 10

highest earners. However, film franchises released after 1995 including The Mummy and Scream movies fared well, while Halloween creepily only ranked 18.
