INXS to Launch 2006 World Tour in North America

NEW YORK, Oct. 4 /PRNewswire/ -- Multi-platinum rock band INXS will be introducing new lead singer J.D. Fortune to the world's concert stages when they embark on the first leg of their world tour in early 2006. The INXS "Switched On" tour, produced nationally by Metropolitan Talent Presents, kicks off January 18th in Vancouver, BC. The North American leg will extend to more than 20 U.S. cities and two stops in Canada.

Tickets are scheduled to go on sale the weekend of October 15. Up-to-date tour information will be posted at www.INXS.com.

INXS recently released the hot new single "Pretty Vegas" and are currently working on their Epic Records debut with producer Guy Chambers. The album, entitled SWITCH, is due in stores November 29th.

Over the course of their 25-year-career, INXS has sold more than 30 million albums worldwide and performed over 4,000 live shows for more than 25 million people in almost 50 countries.
