WHAT: Will take part in an ongoing Hurricane Katrina relief campaign
entitled "ReAct Now: Music & Relief," a multi-artist, multi-genre,
multi-platform special featuring a combination of live and taped
performances and messages from artists to seek and raise funds for
The American Red Cross, The Salvation Army, America's Second
Harvest and similar organizations as they continue their relief
efforts. The campaign will also seek to activate the diverse
audiences across MTV, VH1, and CMT to drive volunteerism,
donations, and general awareness. The special will emanate from New
York, Los Angeles and Nashville.

WHEN: "ReAct Now: Music & Relief" will air simultaneously and commercial
free across the MTV Networks music services (MTV, VH1, CMT, MTV2,
VH1 Classic, mtvU, MTV Espanol, MTV Hits, MTV Jams, MTV Puerto
Rico, on broadband video networks MTV Overdrive and VH1 VSpot, and
streamed live on CMT.com), as well as in various global markets
(including the UK, Africa, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Denmark, France
and Canada). The special has also been extended to air past
midnight.
