TEL-AVIV, Israel, September 28/PRNewswire/ -- Quizart, an Israel based start-up, launched TriviaBox.com, a
trivia game show website. TriviaBox.com is the first website that gives
players an online TV-like knowledge-based trivia game show experience in a
multiplayer environment. At Triviabox.com you can play for real money or demo
money in two different games "Quiz & Conquer" or "Last One Standing". The
site also offers daily tournaments with cash prizes and free entry.
In "Quiz & Conquer" each contestant at his turn chooses a
territory to conquer. Each territory conceals a question in a specific
category. The contestant conquers the territory by answering the question
correctly. The player who ends up with the largest continuous territory wins
the game.
In "Last One Standing", two or more players compete for the big
prize (the more players the bigger the prize). In each round all the
contestant are asked an identical question. Whoever answers the most
questions incorrectly is kicked out of the game. The winner is the "Last One
Standing".
"Triviabox's unique trivia technology guarantees unrepeated
questions and a fair gaming environment," says Uzi Gabsi, Quizart's VP of
Business Development "We also put a lot of effort in developing high level
security mechanisms built in our technology."
In the near future, Quizart's cross platform trivia technology
will run on interactive television as well as on G3 cell phones. It is also
the company's intention to sell concessions to local operators across the
world. The technology gives the operators the option to adapt the games to
the local language, while remaining part of what Quizart calls the - "Quizart
Network". In reality, this means that players of different nationalities and
languages will face-off on the same network, each using his native tongue. An
American will play against a Frenchman, each using his own language.
