Comcast Named 2005 Communications Company of the Year by New Jersey Technology Council

EATONTOWN, N.J., Sept. 12 /PRNewswire/ -- Comcast Cable, a division of Comcast Corporation (NASDAQ:CMCSA)(NASDAQ:CMCSK), was named winner of the New Jersey Technology Council's (NJTC) "2005 Communications Company of the Year" award, for excellence in various areas of communication technology, including leading the industry in growth and product impact. Comcast will receive the prestigious award at the NJTC's Annual Awards Gala on November 4 in Newark, NJ.

The NJTC is a non-profit organization that provides a means of support, networking, information gathering, and advocacy for its membership, which consists of more than 1,300 companies in the technology sector in the New Jersey area. The Council's annual awards recognize companies in the New Jersey technology community for achievements such as "Private Company of the Year," "Excellence in Technology Education," "Life Sciences Company of the Year," and more.
