DIRECTV Customers Eligible to Receive a $20 Barnes & Noble Gift Card With New Starz Super Pack Subscription

ENGLEWOOD, Colo., Aug. 24 /PRNewswire/ -- Starz Entertainment Group LLC (SEG) and DIRECTV, Inc. are offering an exclusive free preview weekend to all DIRECTV customers from 9:00 p.m. ET on September 9 to midnight ET September 11. New DIRECTV customers who sign up for the Starz Super Pack during the free preview weekend are eligible to receive a $20 Barnes & Noble gift card redeemable at 652 stores located in 49 states nationwide, or online at www.barnesandnoble.com.

The free preview will consist of 12 channels in the Starz Super Pack including Starz, Starz InBlack, Starz Edge, Encore, Encore Love, Encore Westerns, Encore Mystery, Encore Action, Encore Drama and Encore Wam.

The free preview weekend presents DIRECTV customers with big Hollywood blockbusters available exclusively on Starz including John Travolta and Joaquin Phoenix in "Ladder 49," "Friday Night Lights" starring Billy Bob Thornton, "The Village," "The Bourne Supremacy" and "Mr. 3000." Additional movies coming to Starz later in 2005 include "The Incredibles," "Blade: Trinity," "National Treasure" and "The Aviator."
