Highly Anticipated Website Will Launch With Music From CD Baby in 13 Genres
LOS ANGELES, Aug. 24 /PRNewswire/ -- Los Angeles-based Internet company Fluid Audio Networks and online independent music retailer CD Baby announced today a partnership to stock American Idol Underground (www.idolunderground.com) with a diverse range of music content for the launch of the Web site. The site, which is an American Idol branded online music player, will launch in October with music in rotation in 13 music genres, including pop, rock, rap, R&B, country, electronica, jazz, classical, world, folk, faith-based, classical, spoken word and comedy. The site serves as a forum for music fans to discover new music, upload their own music, vote on which songs get more airplay and participate in online contests.

This arrangement also will make CD Baby a preferred online CD retailer for American Idol Underground.
