Mice Technologies Introduces MOBIUS Bimanual Media Solutions

OAKBROOK TERRACE, Ill., Aug. 30 /PRNewswire/ -- On Thursday, September 8, 2005, at 6:00 p.m. Central, Mice Technologies will unveil MOBIUS, the world's first bimanual (two-handed) software mixer, DJ Pro, the first two-handed scratch DJ program; and other breakthrough applications at the futuristic TRECC site, located at the DuPage County Airport, West Chicago, Illinois.

The September 8th event will be the global introduction of these pioneering technologies, and will be simulcast in streaming audio and video through the Mice Tech and TRECC websites.

"Our bimanual mixers let music makers grab controls on their laptop the way they do in real life ..." says CEO James Fairs. "... no more endless cutting and pasting, and much less hand fatigue. DJ Pro sells for less than $100 and includes features found on only the most expensive software ... along with features found nowhere else on the planet!"

MOBIUS and DJ Pro are based on Mice Tech's patent-pending technology, which enables independent multiple inputs to the computer. The programs enable two-handed input while working seamlessly with all other forms of input, including midi-keyboard, typed commands, touch pad, trackball, footpad, pen mouse and more.

Mice Technologies is an innovative technology firm located in Naperville, DuPage County, Illinois. The firm's breakthrough intellectual properly holds the opportunity to enable and expand the potentials for users in the medical, educational, securities trading, media, gaming, military and assistive technologies, among others.

"We feel strongly that TRECC is the ideal location from which to present these powerful technologies to the world," says Fairs.

TRECC (Technology Research, Education, and Commercialization Center) is a program of the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana, funded by the Office of Naval Research and administered by the National Center for Supercomputing Applications.
