Cebridge Selects TiVo as Digital Video Recording Provider

Leading Cable Operator to Distribute and Market TiVo Across its Service Areas

ST. LOUIS, and ALVISO, Calif., Aug. 23 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Cebridge Connections, a provider of basic and digital cable television, and high-speed Internet services, and TiVo (NASDAQ:TIVO), the creator of and a leader in television services for digital video recorders (DVR), today announced an agreement that will offer up to 300,000 cable customers across the country an opportunity to receive TiVo(R) service.

Starting in late September, Cebridge plans to independently market the TiVo service, award-winning functionality, and brand to its customers. Responding to strong customer demand for the highest quality in DVR services, Cebridge will provide its customers with new, stand-alone, 80-hour TiVo Series2 DVRs, complete with access to WishList(R) searches and Season PassTM recordings. With the stand-alone TiVo Series2 DVRs, Cebridge has chosen the most rapid means to deploy TiVo service to its subscribers.

"This partnership will enhance the service we already deliver and provide our customers with the most sought after DVR available in the market today," said Patty McCaskill, Senior Vice President, Programming and Marketing, Cebridge Connections. "TiVo and its award-wining user interface will help us to differentiate ourselves from the competition, and meet our customer's demands for advanced products and services."

"TiVo is excited about the opportunity to partner with Cebridge and other independent cable operators across the country," said Brodie Keast, executive vice president and general manager of TiVo's consumer division. "Working with multiple system operators of all sizes allows us the opportunity to expand our distribution into new markets, accelerate growth of our subscriber base and increase brand awareness. Supporting Cebridge, we will work to ensure that their subscribers receive the best home entertainment experience."
