Bruce Butler Promoted to Senior Vice President of Sales, Universal Studios Home Entertainment

UNIVERSAL CITY, Calif., Aug. 23 /PRNewswire/ -- Bruce Butler has been elevated to Senior Vice President of Sales for Universal Studios Home Entertainment (USHE), it was announced today by Dick Longwell, Executive Vice President of Sales, USHE. Mr. Butler, who joined the company as Vice President of Sales in 2003, continues to report to Mr. Longwell and be based at the studio's Universal City headquarters.

In his new position, Mr. Butler has gained additional sales responsibilities for key customers throughout the United States. He continues to oversee the rental, grocery, drug, and distribution channels. In his new capacity, he also has added oversight of USHE's Business Communications Department.

Before joining Universal, Mr. Butler worked for Del Monte Foods, serving as Vice President of Sales at the company's world headquarters in San Francisco. From 1994-1999, Mr. Butler was with Mott's North America, where he started as Regional Sales Manager before advancing to Customer Marketing, Sales Planning Manager. Previously, Mr. Butler held sales management positions at DowBrands Personal Care and Procter & Gamble.

Mr. Butler holds a B.A. in Political Science from California State University at Fullerton.
