Nielsen Media Research Serves Up Family Fun at Detroit's 'Real Men Cook' for Charity Event on June 19
DETROIT, June 13 /PRNewswire/ -- Father's Day is a day to give tribute to the deserving men in our lives who have worked diligently to shape their families and communities. That's why, returning for its 16th year, Real Men Cook Detroit will bring together fathers, "real men", and "community chefs" to enjoy a day of food, fun and family. The only national outdoor food festival to celebrate the African American patriarch and father figures, Real Men Cook is nationally sponsored by Nielsen Media Research, the nation's top television ratings company.

Proceeds from Real Men Cook Detroit will benefit the Men In Action (MIA), Men's Christian Fellowship and Focus: HOPE and Real Men Charities, Inc. Since its inception, Real Men Cook event ticket sales and sponsor-related donations have helped raise nearly $1 million for not-for profit organizations across the country.
