NBC 10 Helps 'Lick' Leukemia

NBC 10 Helps 'Lick' Leukemia

Join in the FUN at the 'Super Scooper' All-You-Can-Eat Ice Cream Festival
Saturday, July 2nd - Monday, July 4th, 12 noon-5PM at Penn's Landing

What: For the past five years, NBC 10 has been the television sponsor
of the Joshua Kahan "Let's Lick Leukemia Super Scooper" Event.
A donation of $5 for adults and $3 for kids allows you to eat
all the ice cream you'd like. Proceeds from this 'yummy'
fundraiser benefit pediatric leukemia research, and has raised
nearly half a million dollars. The fund was established in
memory of Joshua Kahan, a two-year-old boy who lost his battle
with leukemia in 1997. Joshua's parents formed a fund in his
honor to raise awareness for pediatric leukemia research and
improve the quality of life for pediatric cancer patients and
their families. Join NBC 10 News Anchor Terry Ruggles along
with the station's mascot "Peacock" July 4th, from 12-1PM.

When: Saturday, July 2nd through Monday, July 4th,
from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Where: Festival Pier at Penn's Landing
Columbus Boulevard and Spring Garden Street
Philadelphia, PA

This 4th of July weekend you and your family can make a difference by
helping to lick leukemia at the "Let's Lick Leukemia Super Scooper"
Event!
