Toshiba Showcases New Line of FST PURE(R) Flat Color Televisions
New line includes five high definition models with screen sizes ranging from 26" to 34"
ALBUQUERQUE, N.M., May 19 /PRNewswire/ -- Toshiba America Consumer Products, L.L.C. ("Toshiba") displayed today its new line of FST PURE flat color televisions at its annual Dealer Line Show. The full line of FST PURE televisions totaling 10 models, includes five widescreen HD monitor models.
"Although flat panel TV continues to take share from other display categories, the direct view CTV business still accounts for about 20 million TV units," said Scott Ramirez, VP, Marketing. "With digital direct view CTV growing at over 50%, this is still a key business category, and Toshiba is still a key player. We always offer the consumer choice, and our FST Pure line-up provides a wide variety of choices, including five new high quality HD models in modern space-saving cabinetry."
Toshiba's FST PURE flat tube design delivers increased viewing angles, enhanced picture linearity and reduced light reflections to produce accurate lifelike images. To further improve the viewing experience, most Toshiba FST PURE TVs utilize an Invar Shadow Mask, which ensures that image quality is maintained at all times. Available in a variety of sizes from 14" to 34", within Toshiba's Cinema Series(R) and TheaterWide(R) lines, FST PURE technology provides consumers with options for a viewing experience for any room in the house.

Toshiba's line of 16:9 HD Monitor models includes two Cinema Series sets -- the 30HFX85 (30") and 34HFX85 (34"), and three TheaterWide models -- the 34HF85 (34"), 30HF85 (30"), and 26HF85 (26").
