WOW! Adds Bridges TV to Cable Television Line-Up in Ohio; New English Language Network for American Muslims Launching March 16th

COLUMBUS, Ohio, March 16 /PRNewswire/ -- Bridges TV, the first English-language cable channel aimed at American Muslims, announced today that it launched in Columbus, Ohio, on WOW! Cable, a provider of cable television, Internet and phone services. This launch reflects WOW!'s long-term commitment to serving its ethnically diverse audience.

Bridges TV is an English language network that focuses on celebrating American Muslim lifestyle and culture. The new network hopes to air stories about Muslims not seen on mainstream television. Bridges TV broadcasts original daily newscasts and events in the Muslim community, as well as cartoons, family-friendly sitcoms and movies about Muslim life. The network is the first of its kind in English, aimed at the more than seven million Muslims in America, one of the fastest-growing demographics in the country.
