SLS International Appoints Seasoned Executives to Help Lead Next Phase of Growth

SPRINGFIELD, Mo., March 8 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- SLS International (BULLETIN BOARD: SITI) , announced today that it has appointed several key executives to help spearhead the next phase of the Company's growth. The appointments were in the engineering, customer service and sales and marketing areas. SLS appointed Tom Tyson as Field Engineering Director, Harry Klane as Eastern Regional Sales Manager, Joel Moak as Western Regional Sales Manager, Garth Showalter as Customer Service Manager and Rick Davidson to head up logistics. Collectively, these executives have over 100 years of experience.

Mr. Tyson had been Chief Field Engineer for Bose Professional for the last 10 years and has been the head designer for many Stadium, Arena, Convention and Theme Park installations. He was also in charge of Bose's National design and engineering staff. Prior to joining Bose, he was an Acoustical Consultant designing hundreds of systems for a diverse array of venues.

The Company also enhanced its sales and marketing activities through the hiring of Mr. Klane as the new U.S. Eastern Regional Sales Manager and Mr. Moak as Western Regional Sales Manager. Klane was North and South American Director of Sales for Nexo for the past three years. From 1995 to 2001 he was National Sales Manager for EAW (Eastern Acoustics Works). Previously, he was National Sales Manager for Dennon Pro. He has been in Audio/Video since graduating from the University of Rochester in 1976, where he was awarded a Bachelor of Arts degree in English.

Mr. Moak will be the Western Regional Sales Manager. He was past Northwest Territory Manager for Bose Pro Division and past Peavey Southeast District Manager and Speaker Products Manager as well as manager for all transducer products for Peavey Architectural Acoustics group.

SLS also hired Garth Showalter as Customer Service Manager and in house design assistant for Contractors and Dealers. Showalter has been the past manager for Harvest Productions, Southern Missouri office, with responsibilities over all design, sales, purchasing and installation personnel.

The Company also hired Rick Davidson to head up logistics for all Trade Show activities and dealer demo product rotation as well as coordinating transportation for all of the Regional and National Sales managers product demonstrations. Mr. Davidson has over 25 years experience in Trade Show presentation and in the concert touring industry where he was an owner operator of a successful sound company based in Southern Missouri as well as being a Touring Road Manager for several National Recording acts.
