Swarovski Joins Hands With Marc Friedland's Creative Intelligence to Debut Latest Paper Innovation, 'Crystal-It' for Hollywood's Glitterati

Friedland Imbeds Swarovski Crystal to Invitations, Keepsake Commemorative Journal for Starlight Starbright Fete Honoring Steven Spielberg, March 24, 2005

LOS ANGELES, Feb. 4 /PRNewswire/ -- Creative Intelligence, the creative arsenal of the world's most respected experiential and event branding agency, formed a new association that adds Swarovski's newest "Crystal-It," crystal appliques especially designed for stationery. Swarovski, the world's largest crystal manufacturer, has generously donated the crystal to be used for the Starlight Starbright Children's Foundation, "A Stellar Night, Honoring Steven Spielberg" invitations and commemorative Tribute Journal. Through Creative Intelligence's most coveted connections in Hollywood, the company also engaged Swarovski to custom design the Starlight Starbright award for Spielberg, to be fashioned from the company's flawless and brilliant crystal. The event is set for March 24, 2005 at the Beverly Hilton Hotel and invitations are being sent this week. For ticket information please call Ilana Angel at 800-315-2580.

This is the first time the Swarovski crystal-it appliques will be used for such a high profile event in Hollywood. Founder and creative visionary behind the soon to be 20-year old Creative Intelligence, Friedland designed the piece incorporating aquamarine and topaz multifaceted Swarovski crystals to represent a small star radiating around the Starlight Starbright Children's Foundation blind embossed logo. The Swarovski crystal stars are being hand applied this week and grace the cover of 6,000 invitations that honor filmmaker Steven Spielberg for his dedication and commitment to seriously ill children and their families. Swarovski crystal will bedazzle the Starlight Starbright Children's Foundation's Keepsake tribute journal as well.

"We are known for our ability to extend a brand into a tangible experience," says Friedland. "The name of the Starlight Starbright Children's Foundation, paired with its mission to help children, made the Swarovski Crystal-It technology the perfect pairing for their invites, tribute book and event materials."

"On behalf of Swarovski, we are honored to contribute crystal in support of the Starlight Starbright Foundation. The award is a sparkling starburst of Swarovski crystal that evokes the brilliance of this most worthwhile cause and Steven Spielberg's commitment to children," says Nadja Swarovski.
