WHAT: Fans of THE L WORD(R) can log on to the Showtime website SHO.com for an unprecedented, exclusive sneak preview of a scene from the second season premiere. This scene touches on issues from the first season cliffhanger and hints at the exciting drama to come in Season Two. Thirteen new episodes of the hit series will begin airing Sunday, February 20th at 10 p.m. ET/PT. This is the first time SHOWTIME has offered a full scene as an exclusive, online preview for any of its series.

BACKGROUND: The critically-acclaimed SHOWTIME series, THE L WORD is about lesbian life in Los Angeles. The show follows a group of friends -- both gay and straight -- through stories of career, family, inner struggle, friendship and romantic relationships.
