Sentence Says Rides Wave of Success Into Toy Fair Show

MARINA DEL REY, Calif., Feb. 1 /PRNewswire/ -- Sentence Says, The Quick-Thinking Sentence Creation Game, created by a schoolteacher's son to help people improve their sentence structure skills, is riding a wave of awards and consumer acceptance into the Toy Fair Show in New York City.

The game to be shown at the American International Toy Fair (booth #5957) has won awards including "Dr. Toy's 100 Best Children's Products 2004," two iParenting Media awards, a Parents' Choice Recommended Award seal, Creative Child magazine's Seal of Excellence and Education Explorations' five-star review. It made 'Top 10 Games 2004' by the Chicago Tribune and a 'Parade Picks' by Parade Magazine. Sentence Says ($29.95) is available in specialty shops and at www.sentencesays.com.

"What started from an idea inspired by my mother, who taught grade school, Sentence Says has evolved into one of the most popular family fun and academic games," says Sherry F. Martin, CEO and Co-founder of MarBan Industries, Inc., maker of Sentence Says. "We came to Toy Fair last year with the belief that we had a winning concept for a game. The response has been unbelievable."

The award-winning game challenges players to create a bona fide sentence from letter cards while playing against time, action cards, and the judgment of other players; all while protecting sentences and points from being stolen by opponents.

Debuting at this year's Toy Fair show is MarBan Industries, Inc.'s grammar guru, Sentence Says Man, who while citing the mantra "Unleash your creative power," and outfitted in custom purple and black tights and a yellow cape with an action-hero Sentence Says logo on the chest, will challenge show attendees to brief rounds of the game. Sentence Says will be exhibiting in booth #5957 at Jacob K. Javits Convention Center.

Sentence Says has been picked up by Toysrus.com for national distribution through online sales, select Toys R Us brick-and-mortar stores and made available in more than 70 independent specialty shops within the last year.

In 2005 MarBan Industries, Inc. plans to take Sentence Says to other parts of the world and review opportunities for foreign language versions of its popular game.

Sentence Says, $29.95, is available in specialty shops, at www.sentencesays.com or by calling 1-800-959-8611.
