More Than Half of Workers Admit to Romances at the Office, CareerBuilder.com Survey Reveals
If you don't have a date for February 14, your new Valentine may be just a cubicle away. Fifty-six percent of U-S workers say they have dated a co-worker during their careers and 14 percent admitted to dating the boss. Thirty-one percent reported engaging in an office romance more than twice. The new CareerBuilder.com survey, "Office Romance," also reveals that nearly one-in- four respondents said they dated someone higher up within their company. While the majority agreed that an office romance did not impact their performance at work or employment situation, 8 percent said the relationship helped them to progress in their careers.

TiVo Report Shows Super Bowl Ads Got Huge Audience; Sexy, Funny Ads Still Drew Most Enthusiastic Viewership
TiVo said this year's Super Bowl and the commercials within it got the typical huge global audience as in years past. But despite efforts to scale back tastelessness and sex in the game and advertising, the commercials that pushed the envelope the furthest still drew the most enthusiastic viewership, according to TiVo's annual audience measurement of the big game. The highest spike in commercial replay activity during the entire game was recorded during the one commercial that aired during the game that most resembled some of the most criticized spots from last year. The first few seconds of the commercial from GoDaddy.com, which featured a "wardrobe malfunction" of its own were the most replayed moments of any commercial in the game, according to TiVo.

Clear Channel Entertainment Announces U2 Vertigo Tour Shatters World-Wide Sales Records
U2's Vertigo Tour continues to sell out performances and shatter sales records throughout the weekend. Downtown Madrid shut down on Thursday when fans formed a line over a kilometer long to purchase a staggering 53,769 tickets for U2's August 11 performance at Estadio Vicente Calderon. On Friday in Dublin, Ireland where a second show was announced last week to satisfy fan demand, 160-thousand tickets were purchased in less than 50 minutes, setting an Irish box-office record for shows June 24 and 25 at Croke Park. Paris sales surpassed 75-thousand in under one hour, marking the quickest sell- out ever for a show at Stade de France. Saturday's European sales were no exception. In Holland, following the immediate sell out of the July 13 performance, it took fans less than two hours to sell out an additional two shows July 15 and 16 for a total of 160,911 tickets sold for the three arena events. Oslo's July 27 performance at Vallehovin was also quick to sell out. In Vienna the band struck another first by selling 55,000 tickets in 74 minutes for the performance at Ernst Happel Stadium on July 2, beating any previous sales record throughout the country. In North America, additional shows were added and sold in out Phoenix, Seattle and Vancouver.

NEWSWEEK POLL: Social Security
A 56-percent majority of Americans say investing Social Security money in the stock market is too big a risk, according to the latest Newsweek Poll, while 36 percent of those polled (and 48 percent of 18 to 34-year olds) say it's a necessary risk to improve the rate of return of Social Security funds. In President Bush's State of the Union speech this week, he said Social Security is facing a funding crisis and that by about 2040 the system will be bankrupt. Sixty-five percent of Americans polled agree. Bush proposed allowing part of Social Security payroll tax money to be diverted into individual savings accounts. Thirty-six percent of all those polled say they oppose Bush's proposed changes; 26 percent approve them and 30 percent say they're not aware of them.
