Paid, Inc.'s K Sports Captures Super Bowl Festivities Contracts for Doug Flutie's 'Flutie Brothers Band'
WORCESTER, Mass., Feb. 3 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- The Flutie Brothers Band, led by its namesake San Diego Chargers Quarterback Doug Flutie on drums, will be rocking at numerous Super Bowl festivities that contracted the group through Paid Inc. (BULLETIN BOARD: PAYD) Celebrity Services Division. Kristen Kuliga, an NFL player agent, VP of Paid Celebrity Services and founder of the K Sports & Entertainment firm, which was recently acquired by Paid, is Doug Flutie's agent and was instrumental in securing the events for the Flutie Brothers Band.
In an event that promises to be as much fun as the Super Bowl itself, The Flutie Brothers Band will provide live half-time entertainment for the Celebrity Flag Football Challenge at Jacksonville University, Saturday, February 5th. Former and current NFL "superstars" will participate in the event to benefit NFL Alumni Kids Charities. Featured athletes include: Doug Flutie, Roger Staubach, Drew Pearson, Otis Wilson, Bob Golic, Kenoy Kennedy, Van McElroy, Charles Tillman, Tony Dennison, Will Allen, Reuben Droughns, Daryl Smith, Ed Hartwell, Montae Reagor and Keith Jones. February 5, 11 a.m.- 2 p.m., 2800 University Blvd. N., Jacksonville, Fla., (847-673-0592).
The Flutie Brothers Band will be firing up football fans and VIPs for the "Big Game" during a 45-minute set at the official NFL Super Bowl Hospitality Party at the Stadium Club, All-Tell Stadium, Sunday, Feb. 6, 2:30 p.m.
Mr. Flutie and his band won't have a moment's rest, as they also will be playing at additional private functions during the Super Bowl weekend. At past Super Bowls, the band has been known to have impromptu special guest appearances from musicians such as the Bon Jovi band keyboardist and Lynyrd Skynyrd band members.
Doug Flutie and guitar playing brother Darren formed the rock band "The Flutie Brothers Band" with local musicians Michael Gauvin Smith, Spencer Hargis, Sean Jenness and Bobby O'Donnell. A portion of proceeds from their CD "Ramblin' Scramblin' Man" benefits the Doug Flutie Foundation for Autism.
