Water-worshipping thrill seekers that visit Six Flags Waterworld Sacramento in 2005 will have the opportunity to re-define the term "Shootin' the Curl" when they dare the extreme new surf simulating waterslide, Honolulu Halfpipe.

The excitement of this uniquely designed, U-shaped slide begins more than four stories high, providing a panoramic view of the surrounding Cal Expo grounds. A steep entry onto the nearly vertical surface provides riders with the thrill of "free falling," as they barrel down from the apex of this mammoth wave at heart-pounding speeds. During the drop, fearless fun-seekers will experience the force of "zero gravity," zooming back and forth on more than a thousand-gallons of swirling water as they surf their way through the 80-foot valley into a calm catch pool below. Friends and family members can ride Honolulu Halfpipe on single, double and triple person tubes.

"Honolulu Halfpipe will give guests of all ages another reason to beat the Sacramento heat at Six Flags Waterworld this summer," said Joe Meck, Six Flags Waterworld Sacramento vice president and general manager. "With the addition of Honolulu Halfpipe, our guests will enjoy more than 25 water attractions and more than a million gallons of water fun this season."

Honolulu Halfpipe joins an impressive list of attractions at Six Flags Waterworld Sacramento including: Shark Attack, the tallest, fastest and longest waterslide ride in Northern California; Hook's Lagoon, a pirate-themed interactive water playground; Cliffhanger, a side-by-side, six-story speed slide; The Hurricane, a completely dark tube slide; and Calypso Cooler, a relaxing lazy river float trip for the whole family.

Beginning today, guests can triple the excitement with the purchase of a 2005 Six Flags season pass at the incredibly low price of $54.99. In addition to the splash-tastic fun at Six Flags Waterworld Sacramento, the 2005 Season Pass provides a once-in-a-lifetime experience at Six Flags Marine World. This season, guests at Six Flags Marine World can touch and feed amazing marine life at the Park's newest animal interactive experience, Ocean Discovery and enjoy world-class roller coasters and entertainment. The 2005 Season Pass also offers the opportunity to ride the ultimate storm, Tornado, at Six Flags Waterworld Concord.
