Jean-Michel Cousteau to Address Media on Urgent Issue of Shark Conservation at Special Screening of New 3D IMAX Theatre Film SHARKS 3D


WHAT: Jean-Michel Cousteau sounds the alarm on the urgent need to
protect sharks at a special media screening of the breathtaking
3D IMAX theatre film, SHARKS 3D. This new large format
conservation film offers audiences an astonishing up-close
encounter with the Lions and Tigers of the Ocean, including the
Great White, Hammerhead, Sawfish and Whale Shark, the biggest
fish on earth. With SHARKS 3D, audiences can witness them as
they truly are in their natural habitat -- not wicked
man-eating creatures, as sharks are far too frequently depicted
in modern feature films, but wild, fascinating and highly
endangered animals that have been in existence since a
million years before the dinosaurs roamed the earth.

SHARKS 3D is presented by Jean-Michel Cousteau in collaboration
with the United Nations Environment Programme, supported and
endorsed by Reef Check and PADI's Project Aware, and produced
by 3D Entertainment and McKinney Underwater Productions.
SHARKS 3D is the first-ever shark themed IMAX theatre film
produced in 3D.
