From Coast to Coast Virgin Megastores Celebrate Black History Month!
Monthly Event
WHAT: Every February Virgin Megastores celebrates Black History Month to
commemorate historical contributions and black achievements in
music, movies and pop culture throughout the century. The national
tribute dates back to 1926 when Harvard scholar, Carter Woodson,

history was accurately recorded.

contributions of black Americans through a nationwide event lauding
all the aspects of the African American culture; from its heroes to
its up-and-coming stars. As part of the month long celebration,
Virgin will be hosting a number of live events at North American
Virgin Megastores. From live performances in Chicago, to signings
