Distribution agreement with Movielink brings U.S. blinkx.tv users on-demand access to thousands of Hollywood Movies

SAN FRANCISCO, Feb. 28 /PRNewswire/ -- blinkx, the smartest thing on your computer and on the Web, today announced a content distribution agreement with Movielink, the broadband movie download service. Under the agreement, blinkx.tv will provide a gateway for its cinema enthusiasts to easily find and download their favorite films from Movielink.

blinkx.tv consumers will be able to search, watch trailers and download movies featuring their favourite stars. From recent releases, including the latest blockbusters such as Troy and Harry Potter - The Prisoner of Azkaban, to old favourites such as Breakfast at Tiffany's, Movielink offers U.S. based blinkx.tv broadband consumers over a thousand movies and other great video content for legal download.

blinkx.tv customers can search or browse the user-friendly site and view trailers of available titles without charge. Once they are ready to rent a title, they pay for their rental via credit card. Downloads range between $1.99 and $4.99. Movielink's Movies in Minutes(TM) feature lets customers begin watching titles within 2-10 minutes, or store them for up to 30 days and experience unlimited viewing for any 24-hour period. Customers can also use Movielink's MultiPlay(TM) feature to re-rent titles for additional 24-hour viewing periods for up to 30 days after the initial rental.
