TransAKT Taiwan and Wireless Tech Asia Pacific PTE Ltd to Jointly Market VoIP in Asia Pacific

CALGARY, Alberta, Jan. 25 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- TransAKT Corp ("TransAKT" or the "Company") (BULLETIN BOARD: TKTJF) announces today that TransAKT Taiwan Limited ("TransAKT Taiwan"), the Company's wholly-owned subsidiary, has come to an agreement with Wireless Tech Asia Pacific PTE ("Wireless Tech") for the sales and distribution of TransAKT Taiwan's Voice over Internet Protocol ("VoIP") services and hardware in the Asia Pacific region.

Under the terms of the Agreement, TransAKT will be the exclusive supplier of the VoIP network that Wireless Tech will offer through its sales and distribution channels and TransAKT Taiwan will also supply Wireless Tech with all of its VoIP hardware for re-distribution through those same sales channels.

Wireless Tech, formally known as CellStar Pacific PTE. Ltd., provides distribution services for manufacturers like Motorola, Kyocera, Sony-Ericsson, Nokia and others. Beyond handsets, Wireless Tech offers a comprehensive line of OEM, aftermarket, and broadband wireless solutions.
